Throughout the transfer process your domain name/website will remain online, however you won’t be able to make any adjustments to your nameservers or Whois contacts until it completes.
Domain name transfers will not complete unless the authorisation email, sent to the registrant Whois contact, is approved.
Please note: The above process isn’t applicable for .UK domain names, for information please refer to the transfer emails we send upon initiation.
AU Domain Name Transfers
The transfer of .AU domain names (this includes .com.au, .net.au, .org.au, .id.au, etc) typically take exactly 48 hours to transfer from the time which the transfer authorisation link is clicked.
gTLD Domain Name Transfers
gTLD domain transfers (this includes .com, .net, .org, etc) typically take 7 days from the time the authorisation email sent to the registrant Whois contact is approved.
